Red lipstick and a turban
Yes, for a change this post is exactly as the title says. No puns! Just new red lipstick (being something of a lipstick virgin, am still struggling with getting it to stay on my lips) and a new red turban that I made myself. And back-to-front Chinese characters thanks to the Photo Booth function on my MacBook snapping things in mirror image.
Go here if you want to find out how I turned my childhood (cat-fur encrusted) blanket into this warm winter headgear!
wow-you look great in red lipstick. When I wear a dark shade, I look scary 🙂
Red + red… looks amazing on you! (No lipstick virgin, but still a turban virgin, me)
Yes, the red lipstick matches perfectly! Also, I love how everything you do is so thrifty. I read your tutorial and couldn't help but smile that instead of saying "buy some thinner fabric" you said to use an old t-shirt. You're the best!Great job with the turban!
The red lipstick definitely suits you … I struggle with finding the right shade and not feeling so much like 'HELLO, I'm wearing red lipstick' … I tend to stick to the nude / pink colours.PS. I think your turban looks great! 🙂
aww… thanks ladies… now I'm waiting to see pics of all of you in your turbans too, complete with cat fur! Red lipstick optional (it is SOOOO high maintenance!)Katie – there are several reasons I'm 'thrifty' – mainly it's just because I'm tight with money (that half-Asian thing!) but I also hate throwing things out that could still be used somehow. I get a thrill from turning things that most people think are rubbish into something that actually can be used and even gets compliments from those extremely stylish people in Oregon!!
Loving the red lippie! Wish I was brave enough to try it:Phttp:/stylusmuse.blogspot.comxo
you are so stunning! Love your turban- great colour ;D HOpe you're having a lovely weekend!!!
I am loving your red lips and turban – tres chic!I also want to thank you for putting my blog on your list of links, and let you know that the address has changed as I have moved to a grown up website! You can now find me at http://www.CAVACOMA.com (I am no longer at stylerail.blogspot.com)Bisous xx
GORGEOUS – red is definitely for you. I'd also love to see you in vivid hues or orange or magenta. bring on the lippie! x
Great 🙂 turban is fit on you :)red lips not not necessarily .Adam,http://fashionispartofme.blogspot.com
so many supergood things!including the fashion workshopsand the lipstick looks great. i like to think of make-up as a costume/disguise.
Gorgeous!!! I feel naked without my bright red lipstick, which I wear every day, but I'm sure it doesn't look as fab on me as it does on you!
