High Societea at Werribee Mansion

If you were in Melbourne yesterday you will know what a glorious day it turned into. If you weren’t, I took some pictures for you at Societea, a high tea afternoon for bloggers and other lucky people at Werribee Mansion, to prove it.

Here’s Connie from K is for Kani and her sister, both wearing floral headpieces Connie makes herself, and Iolanthe doing an excellent impression of a Hollywood pin-up model!

With Cecylia who is all in vintage (I made my dress from an old kimono and my headpiece from an old straw hat, so I suppose it’s a vintage outfit too).

We couldn’t have had a more perfect day for High Tea on the balcony of the mansion. If I’d known how gorgeous it was going to be I would have spent more time exploring – there’s a lot to see, including inside the mansion itself. I had a sneaky peek, but it would have been more interesting to do a guided tour. Oh well, I had to leave something for next time!

Werribee というところって知っていますか？メルボルン市内から車で30分ぐらい行けるsuburbですが、ヴィクトリア時代のマンションに大きい公園、そしてバラ園やサファリパークみたいな動物園があって、日帰りにちょうどいい場所です。昨日は他のブロガーたちとHigh Teaをマンションでいただいたのでその様子の写真をアップしました。（ちなみに、着ているワンピースは着物で作ったものです！）
天気も最高で、ケーキやお茶もおいしくて、面白い人々と話せてとても素敵なアフターヌーンでした。もし機会があれば是非行ってみてくださいね！
