Fair trade fashion show GIVEAWAY
Those of you who have been following my blog for a while will know that last year and the year before, I co-ordinated and styled the Fair@Square festival fashion show. This year, I’ve handed over the reins to Julia-Louise Premoselli, and the show promises to be very exciting indeed for those of us who are into sustainable, ethical fashion (ie, all the super cool kids!). Here’s a sneak peek….
Blogger Connie Cao is the MC this year!
The show is on next Friday, November 30, at BMW Edge in Federation Square, Melbourne, just before the Fair@Square festival starts for the weekend. I will be in the audience this year, rather than backstage panicking, and I’d love to see you there. So much so, that I’m giving away a pair of tickets! To be in the running to win, leave a comment on this post (make sure I have a way to contact you) by Tuesday, November 27. I will announce the winner on Wednesday, November 28.
Of course you can buy tickets here too! Looking forward to seeing you at the show, or at one of the many events at the festival over the weekend – check out the program here.
That sounds fab! I'd love to go 🙂

I thought I should introduce myself properly. I discovered your blog through Inside Out Style and went through your archive, and I now check in regularly.I'm into sewing and sometimes designing my own clothes (though I struggle with getting a good fit) and costumes. I'm interested in ethnic clothing and textiles; I get to wear some of this stuff when I'm doing tribal style bellydance (see fcbd.com for some details on the particular style that I follow). Up until the last few years, most of my sewing was European Dark Ages costuming. I'm into natural fibres, especially linen. My day to day style doesn't currently reflect much of these interests, but I'm working on it! As you might expect, I also enjoy traveling, and some time ago I taught English in Japan for a year. よろしくね.
Wow that first dress is gorgeous Leeyong
Looks good Leeyong! Hope to see you there – if you want to send me a freebie I'd happily accept it!
I'd love to go! Looks great Leeyong…
Hi Leeyong, we have met in passing a couple of times (I'm a friend of France Pitt's). I'll be helping out with Oxfam's stall for Fair@Square and speaking on Lets Talk panel about Fair Trade universities, but I would love to come along to the fashion show, sounds like its going to be amazing! I would like to go too!
Sounds wonderful Leeyong!Diya Pat
Hi 🙂 I would love tickets for my sister & mom. They'll be going to the festival but the fashion show should be a good experience for them. I'll be backstage once again dressing the models & helping out with the festivities on the weekend. Thanks Leeyong! Kristin 🙂
Using an extremely technological method (ie asking an uninvolved friend to pick a number between 1 and 10 which I had allotted to each entrant) I am happy to announce that LARA has won the tickets. Congratulations Lara, and see you there!
