Transit Tuesday
So I’m currently waiting at the airport in Seoul, having just left Tokyo to fly back to Vientiane. I thought I’d have time to catch up on lots of posts as I had about four hours between flights, but what with eating and wandering and stopping to watch cultural performances (eg here and here) I really haven’t got much done. Oops.
Anyway, here’s something I prepared earlier – about a month ago, in fact! When I was in Chiang Mai I was lucky enough to stay at the Anantara as I was writing about it for couturing.com – the post is now live and you can read about it here. I felt so spoilt as it’s a really gorgeous boutique hotel with a fabulous pool and lush green surrounds that really set off the amazing teak architecture… you can see the professional pics on the couturing.com post, but here are some I thought I’d share with you here.
Yummy smoked eggplant salad at The Service restaurant (formerly the British Consulate).
Views everywhere…
If only I could have stayed longer in this stylish suite!
I could go on and on… if you’re in Chiang Mai, even if you can’t quite stretch your budget to stay at the Anantara, it’s still worth a visit for a drink or afternoon tea. Go on, spoil yourself!
