Felt like a change…
Woo hoo! The kimono book translation is finished! It won’t be actually published for yonks of course, so here’s one I prepared earlier. Well actually this is the Japanese version as the English isn’t out yet for this one either (although I finished translating it in December!). It’s basically a book about how to make cute felt creatures.
Of course I don’t need to make any cute felt creatures because I have a real creature. A creature who loves helping with translations!
That cat of yours is so completely in charge of that scene. How gorgeous.
Oooh… a language catechist..??? groan. lame. I know. Best I could do….catalogue?… catchword? no? okay, I'll stop now…Congratulations!…and again, your labels, killing me.
what a cat! can't believe she's 18 – 18 and going strong by the looks of things.
so adorable! My cat is much the same – you credit her as a help, but honestly, she's just irritating.I love sewing felt animals, I can't wait to see that one in shops!!http://toruu-tania.blogspot.com/
Let's just say she's the CATalyst for me having to go to bed earlier than I intend, as she wanders around nagging me very loudly until I stop working and cuddle up with her. Irritating, but adorable at the same time of course… she loves to sit on anything that I'm working on, which I suppose is understandable, I mean I only live on an ACRE of land so she has nowhere else to go… http://stylewilderness.blogspot.com/2010/05/final-chapter.html
She looks like a very cool customer…much like her owner!! Love the beaten brass platter on the wall – we have one very similar that my grandfather bought in a market in Alexandria (that would be of the Egyptian city variety)in the late 1940's!!!!
…except that ours is Chinese, but you can't see the character in the centre in this picture!
Congrats on finishing. I can't believe it takes so long from finished to published. Your little furry one is adorable. xo m.
