Batik is back
Another quickie today – I am trying to think of some questions to tag other bloggers with as per my most recent post but my brain is on a break (it is the weekend tomorrow after all) so here’s an outfit post instead…
I got this batik t-shirt for $2 at an op shop and was struggling to think of how to update it when I stumbled on the simple act of rolling up my sleeves (if only I’d do the second part of that action and actually do some work!). It has black sleeve openings on the inside so turned back over onto the shoulder they sort of look like a shoulderline decoration. Now rather than a souvenir from a 70s trip to south-east Asia it reminds me of a surf-inspired Proenza Schouler design, but that’s probably just me…
Happy weekend everyone!
