If only I’d listened in maths classes…
…Then I might be able to work out how to make this.
I spotted this pic on Hanneli Mustaparta’s blog ages ago and have been fiddling around with bits of old blanket trying to work out the hot pink capey jacket, but its apparent simplicity is extremely deceptive – or maybe I’m just REALLY bad at geometrical mathsy stuff. Anyone out there got ideas on how to make it? If you used felty old blanket material you wouldn’t have to hem it or anything and it (THEORETICALLY) should be super easy…
This is a tricky one! The whole thing has been bagged out but without seeing the back or inside, it's hard to tell if there's a seam where the sleeves are attached. Good luck!Sarah xwww.tellhershesdreaming.com
It does look pretty simple. At Uni now, but send me an email reminder and I'll send you sketches of possible permutations/ combinations for pattern pieces.
