Modern medicine RULES
After all my sookiness about Suki the other day I took her to the vet for blood pressure tests, and it turns out that her blood pressure was fairly much through the roof, although I would attribute that in part to the fact that she had to stay at the vet without me for several hours to have the tests… stressful at the best of times, let alone when you’re confused and half blind which is how she was.
Anyway the vet gave her blood pressure tablets to take every day and within a day she was back to her usual self. As in, she can now see again (as far as I can tell) and doesn’t get up every hour in the night to wander around and bump into things like a lost soul. And she’s chattering and chirruping and purring like a tractor and loving the sunshine which she just wasn’t doing for those horrible few days earlier in the week.
So Suki would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to everyone who sent lovely messages and assure you that now she only gets up every two to three hours in the night, after which she invariably wants cuddles under the covers. Awww.
I'm so glad to hear your cat is much better. She's such a gorgeous thing.
so glad to hear that suki is feeling better.

Ohhh, that's good news! Love the pics.
Super-Suki!!! What a relief to hear that she's OK. And so glad to see you smiling again :)x Claire

Brilliant news – and gorgeous photos! I'm so glad Suki's ok.
Glad she is feeling better. I have heard somewhere if you want to train your next kitten, you get them while the older cat is still alive and they train them on what behaviour pleases the master …
So sweet of you all … I'm getting more responses about this than I do for just about any other post, maybe I should just do a blog about Suki??Nessa, while a kitten would be lovely, I think it would be the end of Suki! And anyway I can just imagine her saying to the kitten "she LOVES it when you get up a billion times in the night with no particular purpose"… it would be the end of ME!!
Brilliant news! And great photos of Suki π
so glad to hear! suki's beautiful x
That's such wonderful news!! Suki looks very much relieved to be back at home with you! π
Yes, our Sukis very much looked alike! What a cutie yours is too. We only had our Suki for a little under a year, and my husband definitely took to her. And my cat Cinnamon badgers me until he is able to get under the covers at night. Oh how we spoil them!
